| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables | 1 pound ground beef | 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped (1/2 cup) |
| 1 package hamburger helper mix for beef stew | 2-1/2 cups hot water | 2 teaspoons chili powder |
| 1 | Heat oven to 375 F. Rinse frozen vegetables with cold water to separate; drain. |
| 2 | Cook beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. |
| 3 | Mix beef mixture, vegetables, potatoes, sauce mix, water and chili powder in ungreased 2-quart casserole or rectangular baking dish, 11x7x1-1/2 inches. |
| 4 | Cover and bake about 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake uncovered 5 minutes. |
