INGREDIENTS:
4 pounds pork spareribs 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup honey 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tablespoon sweet and sour sauce 1 tablespoon apricot jam



1 Cut ribs into 2- to 3-rib portions; place meaty side down in large, shallow, foil-lined baking pan. Thoroughly combine soy sauce, sherry, honey, pepper and garlic in small bowl; brush both sides of ribs with portion of mixture.
2 Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake at 350 F. 1 hour. Discard foil; brush both sides of ribs with portion of sauce mixture. Bake 30 minutes longer, or until ribs are tender, brushing with remaining sauce mixture every 10 minutes. Meanwhile, blend sweet & sour sauce and jam. Remove ribs to serving platter and brush jam mixture on ribs to glaze.
