INGREDIENTS:
1 cup julienned carrot 1 cup julienned daikon radish 1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar 1/4 cup white vinegar



1 Sprinkle carrot and radish with salt, allow to stand for 10 minutes. Press vegetables gently with a dray towel to remove excess moisture. Rinse and drain. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and vinegar with vegetables, then marinate for at least 2 hours before serving. Best when served chilled.
