Cajunized Oriental Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS:
6 thick pork chops salt and red pepper 1-1/2 cups sauterne wine
1 cup chopped bell pepper 1 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic, chopped
3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can (15oz.) pineapple chunks



1 Salt and red pepper the chops, and brown them slowly in a skillet. Add wine, bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove pork chops, being sure to keep them warm.
2 Add the soy sauce and syrup from pineapple. Stir until more or less thick. Add the pineapple chunks and bring to a boil. Serve over pork chops and hot cooked rice.
