| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 cups uncooked ziti or penne pasta (11 ounces) | 1 pound ground beef | 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup) |
| 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley | 1 cup milk | 1 cup barbecue sauce |
| 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces) | 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (6 ounces) | 1 roma (plum) tomato, chopped |
| 1 | Heat oven to 350 F Grease 2-quart casserole. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. |
| 2 | While pasta is cooking, cook beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. |
| 3 | Mix beef, pasta, 3 tablespoons of the parsley, the milk, barbecue sauce, mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Spoon into casserole. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with tomato and remaining 1 tablespoon parsley. |
