| 1 cup cocoa | 1/2 cup sweet butter, softened | 2 teaspoons peppermint extract |
| 1/2 cup water | 9 cups sifted confectioners sugar (2 pounds) | |
| 1 | Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix with hands until well blended. Add more water, 1/4 teaspoon at a time, if needed to hold mixture together. Shape mixture into a ball; place on sheet of wax paper and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters; chill several hours. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. |
