| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal | 1/2 cup all-purpose flour | 4 teaspoons maple syrup |
| 3/4 teaspoon salt | 3 tablespoons vegetable oil | 1 large egg, beaten |
| 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder | 3/4 cup milk | |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Generously brush a cast-iron corn stick molds with vegetable oil. Place molds in oven and preheat 15 minutes. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat well with a wooden spoon. Fill molds. Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot. |
