Chilled Summer Tofu (Hiya Yakko)

INGREDIENTS:
Dipping sauce and condiments for bubbling tofu hot pot 2 (14 to 16-oz) pkgs, fresh silken or regular tofu, rinsed cold water
crushed ice or small ice cubes lemon wedges



1 Prepare Dipping sauce ingredients; pour into 4 small bowls for the table. Prepare 3 or more condiments; place in separate small dishes for guests to help themselves at the table. Cut 2 tofu blocks crosswise in half to make 4 blocks. Place each piece in an attractive glass serving dish. Add a small amount of cold water and crushed ice or small ice cubes around base of each piece of tofu. Serve with dipping sauce and condiments.
