| 15 todoks (a white root) | 2 T. red pepper paste | 1/2 T. red pepper powder |
| 2 T. soy sauce | 1 T. chopped garlic | 2 T. chopped green onion |
| 1 T. sugar | 1 T. sesame salt | 2 T. sesame oil |

| 1 | After soaking and peeling the todok, remove the bitterness by soaking the todok in salt water; then pat them dry. Slice the todok thinly and pound it flat with a mallet. |
| 2 | Mix the red pepper paste with the soy sauce, green onion, garlic, sesame salt and sesame oil. Simmer the mixture until thicken. |
| 3 | Boil the todok on a grill and baste it with the seasoned red pepper paste. |
