| to 6 ozs. bread crumbs allow | 3 ozs. lean ham or bacon | 4 ozs. suet |
| 2 teaspoonfuls of minced parsley | 1 teaspoonful of thyme | 2 eggs |

| 1 | Shred up the ham or bacon, add the chopped herbs, suet and bread crumbs and well blend; season and add a little grated nutmeg. Beat up the eggs and bind the mixture. |
