| Pastry | 1 rabbit | 1/2 lb. beef steak |
| 1/4 lb. cooked ham | 2 teaspoonfuls chopped parsley | nutmeg |

| 1 | The rabbit should firs of all be soaked in salt water for 1-1/2 hours, then jointed and placed in a pie dish together with the ham and steak, cut up into small pieces; sprinkle with chopped parsely, pepper and salt and nutmeg, add the stock, and cover with pastry. Bake slowly for 1-1/2 hours. |
