Avocado and Tomato Salad (Ensalada de Aguacate y Tomate)

INGREDIENTS:
1 large avocado, peeled and sliced 1 pound plum tomatoes, sliced 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
cider vinegar and olive oil to taste 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons black pepper
dash hot sauce (optional)



1 Combine all of the ingredients in a nonreactive bowl.
2 Variation: For an interesting twist add a papaya, peeled and diced. You can also substitute a red onion for the yellow.
