| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 4 large tomatoes | 1 package round mozzarella cheese | 10 fresh basil leaves |
| 1 tbsp white wine vinegar | 3 tbsps olive oil | salt and freshy ground black pepper |
| 1 | Cut the mozzarella cheese into rounds. Then, using a pastry cutter, trim the rounds into neat circles. |
| 2 | Turn the tomatoes on their sides and cut into neat slices. Discard the small outer slices. Alternate the tomato and mozzarella slices on the serving plates to make an attractive circle. |
| 3 | Cut the basil leaves lengthwise into thin strips and mix into the vinegar and olive oil. Season the dressing to taste with salt and pepper and pour over the salad before serving. |
