| 3 large, ripe avocados, chilled | 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice | 6 tablespoons superfine sugar |
| 1 | Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and mash them in their shells with a fork. Turn them out into a bowl and mash until smooth with the lime juice and sugar. Pile the mixture into glass serving dishes and garnish, if liked, with a little grated lime peel or a slice of lime. |
