| 1/2 lb. of fine oatmeal | 2 ozs. self-raising flour | pinch of salt |
| 2 ozs. suet | 2 ozs. currants | |
| 1 | Mix all dry ingredients well together; then mix to a firm dough with water or milk. Make into trollies about the size of an egg and boil in any soup for 45 minutes. |
