| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 tablespoons crushed garlic | 3 tablespoons cooking oil | 1/4 cup sliced onion |
| one 2-pound chicken, cut into serving pieces | 2 tablespoons patis or 1 tablespoon salt | 1/4 teaspoon pepper |
| 6 cups water | 2 packs misua (threadlike noodles) or vermicelli | 1/4 cup scallions or green onions |
| 1 | Saute garlic in oil until brown. Add onion, chicken, patis or salt and pepper. Cover, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add water, bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is cooked. Add misua noodles and cook for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle with scallions before serving. Serve hot. |
