| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 cup dried shrimp | 1 medium onion, chopped | 1 tablespoon crushed dried hot red peppers |
| 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger root | 3 tablespoon dende (palm) oil | |
| 1 | Soak the shrimp in cold water to cover for 30 minutes. Drain the shrimp and pulverize them in a blender or food processoer with onion, peppers, and ginger root. Heat the oil in a skillet and saute the shrimp mixture for about 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and serve with the acaraje. |
