| 1 8-ounce fully cooked boneless ham slice, cut about 1/2 inch thick | 1 tablespoon brown sugar | 2 teaspoons cornstarch |
| 1 8-3/4 ounce can pitted dark or light sweet cherries | 2 tablespoons brandy | |
| 1 | In a large skillet cook ham over medium heat for 3 minutes. Turn ham over, then continue cooking for 3 to 7 minutes more or till heated through. Transfer meat to a serving platter. Cover to keep warm. Remove the skillet from the heat. |
| 2 | For sauce, in the same skillet, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Then stir in the undrained cherries and brandy. Return the skillet to the heat. Cook and stir till mixture comes to boiling, then reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Serve over meat. |
