| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 c flour, unsifted | 3/4 c baking cocoa | 2 eggs, slightly beaten |
| 1 t vanilla | 2 c hot freshly perked coffee | 2 c sugar |
| 1 t salt | 1 c oil | 2 t baking soda |
| 1 | Put all dry ingredients except soda in a large bowl. Stir with a spoon to mix. Add all together eggs, oil and vanilla; mix. Dissolve soda in the hot coffee and add to the mixture. Blend on low speed with mixer. This makes a very thin batter. Pour into two 9" waxed paper lined cake pans or 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 35 F. 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost with desired frosting. Very "chocolatey" and moist. |
