| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 lb ground pork sausage | 4 c packed brown sugar | 1 T cloves |
| 1 c nuts, chopped | 2 T cinnamon | 1 lb dates, chopped |
| 6 c flour | 1 lb raisins | 3 c boiling water |
| 1 T soda | ||
| 1 | Combine sausage, raisins, dates, and nuts. Add brown sugar and boiling water and mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients. Add to sausage mixture and mix well. Grease and line bottoms of 3-9" x 5" x 3" loaf pans with waxed paper. Pour batter into pans and bake at 350 F for 1-1/2 hours. |
