INGREDIENTS:
4 ozs. flour 2 eggs 3 ozs. butter or margarine
1/2 pint buttermilk or milk    



1 Rub the butter into the flour, beat the eggs and mix into a batter, beating well with a wooden spoon. Allow to stand overnight if possible. Bake on a girdle and eat hot and well buttered.
