INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 medium cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced or minced 1 pound yard-long beans, stem ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch-long pieces
1 tablespoon fish sauce freshly ground black pepper  



1 Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the garlic until lightly golden, about 1 minute. Add the beans and stir-fry about 3 minutes. Add the fish sauce, season with pepper, and continue to stir-fry until cooked through, about 10 minutes more.
