| 2-1/2 lbs. flour | 2 lbs. refined sugar | 12 ozs. carraway seeds |
| 2 lbs. butter or margareine | 4 teaspoonsful orange flower water | 10 eggs |
| 1/2 lb. candied peel | ||
| 1 | Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time with flour alternately, then add orange flower water, carraway seeds, candied peel. Put in tins when the oven is ready. Let the fierceness of the oven be over before you set in the cake for fear of scorching it. |
