| 3/4 pound sugar snap peas, trimmed and strings removed | 1 tablespoon unsalted margarine | 2 teaspoons snipped fresh chives or minced green onion |
| 1 | In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil; add the peas, cover, and cook for 1 minute. Drain, transfer to a bowl, and set aside. |
