Beef Tenderloin with Farofa (File Mignon com Farofa)

INGREDIENTS:
1 beef tenderloin 1/4 cup olive oil juice of 1 lemon
1-1/2 teaspoons salt 1 basic recipe Farofa parsley
lemon slices



1 Cut beef tenderloin in slices 1-1/4 inch in thickness, across the grain. Marinate for several hours in the olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Remove from marinade and put on grill, and grill until brown on one side, turn over, baste with marinade, and finish cooking. The length of time depends on the rareness desired. Put on one end of a very hot platter, pile the farofa on the other end of platter, garnish with sprig of parsley and lemon slices. Serve quickly so that it is very hot.
