Oven-Roasted Fresh Corn on the Cob

INGREDIENTS:
6-8 ears fresh, tender roasting corn 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar butter
salt and pepper    



1 Preheat over to 450 degrees F. Pull down corn husks to remove silk and soak for 10 minutes in enough sugared water to cover. Replace husks and close with a twisting motion or tie closed. Place the ears in the oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes. Remove husks prior to serving, and serve with butter and salt and pepper.
