| 1 | Pierce meat with the tip of a sharp knife in several places. Dip each garlic clove in a mixture of salt and pepper and insert in holes. Brown all around, add water to half cover, and cook at 350 F for 2-3 hours or until done through. Cool in refrigerator before slicing. |
