| 1 head red cabbage, shredded fine | 4 apples, peeled and sliced | 1/2 cup vinegar |
| 1/2 cup water | 3 tablespoons sugar | 1 small onion, sliced |
| dash of ground cloves | 3 tablespoons butter | |
| 1 | Place ingredients in crock cooker in order listed. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. Stir in a little more butter at serving time. |
