| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 12 egg yolks | 14 tablespoons sugar | 6 tablespoons strong coffee |
| 1/2 pound unsalted butter | 12 ladyfingers | whipped cream |

| 1 | Beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy, add coffee, cook in top of a double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Cook. Add slightly softened butter and mix well. Put a layer of ladyfingers in a greased, wax-paper-lined mold, cover with coffee cream, put in another layer of ladyfingers, and finish with cream. Chill in refrigerator overnight. Unmold and decorate with whipped cream and chopped nuts. |
