| 2 lbs cabbage | 1-1/2 lbs potatoes | salt, paprika, caraway seeds |
| 1/2 lb bacon | 1 onion | |
| 1 | Cut cabbage in strips and cook for 10 minutes in salted water. Peel and dice potatoes and add to cabbage. Season. Cook until potatoes are done, about 20 minutes. Drain cabbage. Chop up bacon and onion and brown together and combine with cabbage and potatoes. |
