| 1/2 lb French mushrooms | 2 tbls oil | 1 tbls vinegar or lemon juice |
| 1 tbls water | salt and pepper | parsley, chopped |
| onions or pickles, as desired | ||
| 1 | Cook mushrooms, either whole or sliced, for 4 to 5 minutes in boiling salted water. Mix oil, vinegar, water and seasonings well for a smooth marinade. Pour over mushrooms and let soak thoroughly. Garnish with chopped parsley, little onions or pickles, to serve. |
