Marinated and Grilled Shrimp

INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds large fresh shrimp, unpeeled 1/3 cup sherry 1/3 cup sesame seed oil
1/3 cup soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger



1 Peel and devein shrimp, and place in a large shallow container. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour over shrimp. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours, stirring shrimp occasionally.
2 Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving marinade. Thread shrimp on skewers. Grill over medium-hot coals 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Baste frequently with marinade.
