| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 apples | 2 pears | 2/3 cup orange juice |
| 1 tablespoon lemon juice | 2 bananas | 2 tablespoons orange-flower water |
| confectioner's sugar | 8 oz strawberries, bulled and halved lengthways | fresh mint leaves |
| rind of 1 orange | ||
| 1 | Core apples and pears and cut into thin slices. |
| 2 | Place in serving bowl and add orange and lemon juices to prevent the apples and pears discoloring. |
| 3 | Peel and cut bananas thinly. Add to fruit in bowl and toss gently. Add orange flower water and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar to taste. |
| 4 | Add strawberry halves to fruit salad. Sprinkle with fresh mint leaves. |
| 5 | Grate orange rind and cook in water or light sugar syrup for 5 minutes, drain. Arrange over fruit salad and serve. |
