| 1 pound Korean radish, peeled | 1 teaspoon Korean sesame oil | 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1 garlic clove, crushed | 1/4 teaspoon sugar |
| 1/8 teaspoon pepper | ||
| 1 | Cut the radish into 3-inch long pencil-thin sticks. Heat the oil in a skillet and stir-fry the radish over moderate heat for 1 minute to soften. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt, garlic, sugar and pepper; mix well for about 1/2 minute. Turn out into a serving dish. |
