| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 c sugar | 1 c real butter | 1/2 c ground nuts (almonds or walnuts) |
| 1 c nuts | 6 oz chocolate chips | |
| 1 | Put sugar and butter in a heavy pan on cold burner. Melt on high heat, stirring constantly. When butter melts, add 1 c nuts and cook until toffee turns to a tan color. Pour into greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread around. Sprinkle ground nuts on top. Cool, then break into pieces. This is very easy to make and tastes like good English toffee. |
