| 2-1/4 pounds large-size zucchini | 1 pound beef | 2-1/4 pounds ripe tomatoes |
| 2 onions | cooking oil | salt and pepper |
| cornflour (cornstarch) (optional) | ||
| 1 | Prepare zucchini. Cut meat into small cubes. Peel tomatoes and chop. Slice onions very thin, keeping all ingredients separate. |
| 2 | Fry onions to a rich golden color, add tomatoes, and cook for 10 minutes. Add meat and seasoning and cook for a further 20 minutes. Toss in the zucchini and cook until meat is tender. Thicken with cornflour (cornstarch) if necessary. |
