Mutton or Lamb Chops (Hammelkoteletten)

INGREDIENTS:
4-8 mutton or lamb chops 1 clove garlic 1 tbls oil
salt and pepper 1 onion, sliced 4 tomatoes
1 tbls flour



1 Rub chops with garlic, sprinkle with oil and seasonings. With slices of onion and whole tomatoes, broil at high heat for 10-15 minutes. Add flour to drippings and prepare gravy. Lamb chops may also be fried in butter. They should always be crisp on the outside, but a bit rare inside. Serve with salted potatoes and green beans.
