Chili Banana Yogurt

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup plain yogurt 1/2 cup cream 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped red chili
pinch salt 2 medium ripe bananas 1 red or green chili, seeded and sliced (optional)



1 Place yogurt in a glass bowl, and use a whisk to beat yogurt until smooth. Gradually add cream, whisking well after each addition.
2 Stir in the finely chopped red chili and salt to taste.
3 Peel and chop bananas into small even pieces. Stir banana into yogurt mixture, mix well. Serve chilled with a garnish of sliced red or green chili, if using.
4 NOTE: Chili Banana Yogurt is a delicious accompaniment to spicy curries. The creamy yogurt and banana soothes the palate and the small amount of chili adds zest.
