| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 tbls cornstarch | 1 cup milk | 2 tbls sugar |
| pinch of salt | 1 tbls chopped almonds | 1 tbls butter |
| 1 egg, separated | ||
| 1 | Stir cornstarch in a little milk until smooth. Bring to a boil the rest of the milk, sugar, salt and almonds. Add cornstarch mixture and let cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in butter and egg yolk. Fold in stiffly beaten white. Rinse a glass dish, and while still moist, turn pudding into this, and chill. |
