Mix ground beef and sausage meat; shape into a large patty in a large frying pan; brown 5 minutes on each side, then break up into chunks. Remove and set aside. |

Pour off all drippings, then measure 3 tablespoonfuls and return to pan; stir in onion and garlic and saute just until soft. Add uncooked noodles; continue cooking, stirring often, until noodles are toasty-golden. |

Stir in tomatoes, water, pimiento, salt and browned meat; cover. |

Simmer, stirring often, 10 minutes; stir in cheese; cover again. Cook 10 minutes longer, or until noodles are tender and cheese is melted. |
