| 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted | 3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs | 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese |
| 2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal | 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled |
| 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder | 1 broiler-fryer chicken (about 3 pounds), cut up | |
| 1 | Place melted butter in a shallow dish or pie pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except chicken, in another shallow dish. |
| 2 | Roll chicken pieces in melted butter, coating each evenly, then roll in crumb mixture, coating each completely. |
