Grandma's Strudel

INGREDIENTS:
2-1/4 cups flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 pound butter, melted
1 cup sour cream 12 ounces apricot preserves, or 12 ounces chocolate chips, or 1/2 to 3/4 cup golden raisins and 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped cinnamon sugar



1 Combine flour, sugar, butter, and sour cream and mix well, using fork and hands.
2 Chill in refrigerator until easy to handle.
3 Preheat oven to 325 to 350 F. Grease a cookie sheet.
4 Roll out dough on a floured surface into a rectangle approximately 9x13 inches.
5 Spread apricot preserves or chocolate chips or raisins and walnuts on top of dough rectangle.
6 Roll up the 13-inch side of the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
7 Place strudel on cookie sheet.
8 Bake for approximately 45 minutes until lightly crisp.
9 Remove from oven and cut into slices. Add more fillings, if desired.
