| 2-1/2 cups sugar | 1 cup water | 3 cups ground blanched almonds |
| 12 egg yolks | 6 egg whites, unbeaten | 6 egg whites, stiffy beaten |

| 1 | Make a syrup of the sugar and water and cool. Mix in the almonds, egg yolks, unbeaten egg whites, and fold in the 6 beaten egg whites. Place in a square buttered baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool and cut inot small squares. Roll each in crystallized sugar and place in small decorative paper cups. |
