| 2 pounds veal, cut in 1-inch cubes | 1/2 cup flour | 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon pepper | 1/4 cup oil | 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced |
| 2 onions, sliced | 2 cups brown gravy | 2 tablespoons sherry |

| 1 | Dust veal cubes with flour, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet and saute meat until lightly browned on all sides. Spoon meat into crock cooker, reserving oil in skillet. Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet, and saute for a few minutes. Pour onion and mushroom mix over meat along with the gravy and sherry. Stir, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Adjust seasoning for salt and pepper, and serve with rice, noodles, or over toast points. |
