| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 C shortening | 1 egg | 2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened, chocolate |
| 1/2 t salt | 1 C brown sugar | 1 t vanilla |
| 1-2/3 C flour | 1/2 C sweet or sour milk | nuts |
| MOCHA ICING: 6 T cocoa | 6 T butter | 3 C powdered sugar |
| 6 T hot coffee | 1 t vanilla | |
| 1 | Melt chocolate in top of double boiler. Cream together shortening and sugar. Add cooled chocolate and egg. Mix well. Add vanilla, flour, salt, and milk. Mix thoroughly. Drop 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F. for 10-12 minutes. Frost while warm. |
