| 1/2 quantity bread dough or 450 g/1 lb frozen bread dough | 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano | 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil |
| 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped | 2 tablespoons olive oil | salt and freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 | Make a pizza base as for pizza napoletanna, topping with passata, herbs and garlic. Brush the edge with some of the oil and sprinkle the remainder over the topping. When leaving the pizza to rise, support the cloth so the topping does not stick to it. Season well with salt and pepper and bake as directed. |
