| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 lb dried white beans | 3 tbls vinegar | 3 tbls water |
| 1 cup beef stock | salt and pepper | 1 bud garlic, crushed |
| 1-2 strips bacon | ||
| 1 | Wash beans and let soak in water overnight. Next day, cook until tender, about 2 to 3 hours. From the remaining ingredients, except bacon, prepare a marinade. Pour this over the beans and let soak in well. Chop bacon and fry to a light brown. Just before serving, pour bacon grease and chopped bacon over beans. |
