| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 teacupful boiled rice | 1 teacupful flour | 1 teacupful milk |
| 1 tablespoonful butter | 1 teaspoonful salt | 2 teaspoonfuls baking-powder |

| 1 | Mix together rice, melted butter, salt and well-beaten egg. Sieve together baking-powder and flour, add to mixture and stir well. Drop large tablespoonfuls on to hot greased bakestone or thick frying-pan. Cook about four minutes each side. |
