| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1-1/2 ozs butter | 3/4 lb flour | 3 teaspoonfuls baking-powder |
| 1/4 teaspoonful salt | pepper to taste | 3 ozs Caerphilly cheese |
| 2 ozs Parmesan | about 1/2 pint milk | |
| 1 | Sift flour, salt, baking-powder, rub in butter. Grate cheese finely, add to flour with pinch of pepper. Mix well, add enough milk to make soft dough. Roll out half inch thick, stamp into rounds, place on buttered baking sheet. Bake in hot oven 15 or 20 minutes. Serve hot with butter. |
