Double Fudge Cake

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 C cocoa 1-1/4 C milk 3/4 C light brown sugar
2/3 C butter or oil 1 C sugar 3 eggs, unbeaten
1-1/2 tsp vanilla 2 C flour 3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt



1 Stir cocoa into hot milk and cool. Then stir in brown sugar until well dissolved. Cream butter and sugar and beat thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and well sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture and blend all together. Pour into oiled 10 x 10 x 2" pan and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 45 minutes. Toothpick comes out clean when done.
2 When cool, frost with cocoa frosting.
